Dudley Moore & Max Showalter in “10”
A scene from “10” with Dudley Moore and Max Showalter. Showalter plays a priest who Moore has some questions for, concerning Bo Derek’s character. But before he can get any answers, he must be an audience for Showalter’s songwriting talents. The priest wants to impress Moore’s world-renowned composer.
At the end, there’s a big laugh involving the priest’s housekeeper and the dog. Inspired stuff here.
Max Showalter was, in reality, a reformed songwriter and musician.
